So much of the economy today is centred around the value of data above any other business model component. When we fly to another country our Air Miles sells our data to credit card and insurance companies. Or when we shop at the supermarket we have to pay a premium price unless we comply to hand over our data to their digital marketing department. While it may look like we are getting great value from these deals, we know that it is a fraction of what the value is in selling this data to third parties that we don't know or recognise.

At their core, data unions are all about brokering those deals directly for you simply by giving you choices like what data to share, to whom and for what price. That's why we're offering our membership to consumers who are waking up and looking to join the fair trade data movement by joining the Data Union Café.

Get Representation for your Data Rights

The Café provides an interface into your data rights. As your authorised representative, we'll request data from companies on your behalf with no hassle or legal hoops to jump through and make it easily available to you in your account.

Your right to representation and data intermediary services is an EU right under GDPR, DMA and DGA and therefore depends on your jurisdiction.

Whether it's automated Data Subject Access Requests (GDPR), live API integration with your Apple, Amazon, Google, Meta and Microsoft data (DMA) or making sure your favourite brands are using Fair Trade Data (DGA) - you can use your Beanies Membership to stay in complete control of your rights online.

Premium Membership vs Free Tier

Our goal at the Data Union Café is to unite stakeholders around Fair Trade Data with Information and Collaboration. That's why our free tier includes access to our powerful price comparison feature to make sure you get the best value for your loyalty card data.

However, only premium accounts will get access to premium dashboard features like sharing household data insights, connecting their smart devices or importing their bank accounts to maximise the value of their data.
